What is Dr. Cox’s Educational Background?
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Cox received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in San Antonio. He completed four years of residency at Baylor College of Medicine before beginning private practice.

How does Dr. Cox augment his education?
Dr. Cox augments his training with many hours of continuing medical education credits. Since 1979, he has been cited consistently for excellence in continuing medical education by the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Association.

What professional organizations does Dr. Cox belong to?
Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Cox has been a member of various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Dermatology Society, and the Houston Dermatology Society. He is also a Clinical Instructor at the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Dermatology and is the author of numerous scientific journal articles on topics in dermatology.
