Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are a great way to restore the volume and fullness in the face that is often lost with the facial aging process and help to give a more youthful and rested appearance. Fillers consist of a stabilized hyaluronic acid, much like the bodies own hyaluronic acid.

The amount of filler needed varies from person to person, the amount of volume that has been lost, and the desired outcome. Our staff will assist you with a determined amount of volume to be injected.

Dermal fillers last for approximately 6-12 months depending on the type of filler and location.

The variety of filler we use treat with includes:

  • Restylane
  • Restylane Lyft
  • Restylane Refyne
  • Juvederm Ultra
  • Juvederm Ultra Plus

Before fillers are injected, we review a history of any potential adverse reactions, history of cold sores, and medications. If there is a current skin reaction or problem, we recommend the condition be treated and cleared completely prior to injection. Topical numbing cream is applied to the area to be injected to lessen the discomfort that is felt.

During the injection a feeling of pressure and a slight burn is usually felt. This is temporary and ice packs will help alleviate the discomfort.

After treatment you may have some tenderness, swelling and bruising to the treated area. Swelling may last 1-2 weeks and will soften with time. We recommend a gentle touch to the areas that were injected, avoid activities that cause excessive sweating, bending, and flushing of the skin.

Botox and Dysport injections for temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) and forehead in adults. These injections typically last 3-6 months and dependent on patient.
